Oops I’m in Santorini

We made it! We’re actually in Santorini!

I can’t believe anywhere that looks this much like a fairytale exists. I mean, the weather has been pretty bad today – our AirBnB host was actually devastated that we’re seeing his country like this, but I still think it looks magical. I can’t wait  for the sun to come out!

In the mean time, I’ve been practicing my night photography from our roof terrace. It’s a work in progress but I’m pleased I at least have a vague grasp of aperture, shutter speed and ISO now (how long has that taken me?!).

So maybe I can tick one more thing off the 30 before 30 list

If you’re not interested in endless blue skies, whitewashed cave houses, or sunsets over the ocean then I’m sorry but I’ve got nothing for you. Come back in a couple of weeks?

It looks beautiful even at night! 🙂

I hope the weather improves for you but it’s wonderful you’re still enjoying your time there anyway 🙂

It is! There are so many pretty twinkly lights and all the pools are lit up, too. It’s like a real life Disneyland! The weather did end up improving so I’ve got some gorgeous blue sky photos coming very soon…

Hahaha sorry!! If it’s any consolation I’m back home again now and looking at these pictures is making me jealous of week-ago-me…!

I’ve been loving all of your snaps and Instagrams from Santorini! I hope that y’all are having a blast despite the rain!

Glad you enjoyed them! I kept getting carried away with the beauty and forgetting to post :/ We definitely made the most of the island despite the weather, we are British after all. A spot of rain never put us off anything!
